In determining the frequency we recommend you check the terms of your insurance and assess other considerations. A large home may require a daily visit and a condominium owner may select every (72) hours for example.

Depending on the zone you are, in home-watch prices start as low as $25.00 for interior/exterior service on a single family home. Factors that go into pricing include the type of property, location, frequency of visit and the services that will be performed. What Does a Home Watch Visit Include? A Home Watch Visit by our accredited home watch professional includes a visual inspection of the following items looking for obvious issues: Home Watch Visit Checklist Exterior of Home: Remove junk mail/flyers from mailbox, driveway, and front door. Bring any packages or personal mail inside home. (We can arrange mail forwarding if requested) Walk entire exterior of home inspecting for signs of vandalism or forced entry Visual inspection of walls, windows, doors, gutters for any obvious damage Visual inspection of roof (from the ground) checking for obvious damage, tree limbs, etc. Check for any noticeable drainage issues Monitor landscaping for damage or service-related issues that may need addressing Check for signs of any storm-related damage (Downed tree limbs, broken windows, etc.) Monitor visual condition of swimming pool and/or spa to assure being properly serviced Inspect for obvious insect infestation or pest presence (Will spray wasps’ nests within reach) Visually inspect accessible HVAC and pool equipment (Report anything unusual observed) Check hose bibs and valves for visible leakage Check for mold or mildew on concrete surfaces Check for obvious drainage issues Check screen enclosures for any obvious damage Interior of Home: Check security system operation if activated Check fire/smoke/CO2 alarms (Replace batteries if needed upon request) Check and record temperature/humidity readings to confirm proper operation Check temperature/humidity settings on thermostats Inspect for obvious insect infestation or pest presence Run water in sinks, showers, and tubs – Inspect under sinks checking for signs of leaks Flush toilets and brush if needed Run garbage disposal Check appliances (Cycle dishwasher & washer monthly to prevent seals from drying out) Check windows and doors to ensure they are secured Check breaker panels for tripped circuits and reset if needed Check water heater for signs of leaks Replace a/c filters upon request Reset appliance clocks and light timers in the event of power failure Check refrigerator for proper operation Check ceilings, walls, windows for obvious signs of water intrusion/leaks Check for obvious signs of mold, mildew, unusual odors Water indoor plants (Upon request) Check garage doors are secured Start and idle vehicle(s) (Upon request) Perform optional services upon request Home Watch Visit Report We create a customized report for each client that includes the items listed above as well as any items that we monitor at our client's request. You will receive a digital report that shows that each item has been checked. We include images and communicate with you if there are any issues at your property that need immediate attention. The digital Home Watch Report that you will receive after each Home Watch Visit captures the GPS coordinates of your residence as well as the time and date of the visit. These reports can serve as documented proof to your insurer that your home is being regularly visited while you are away.
